A few months ago, we spotted a black and white cat wandering through the vineyard—friendly, curious, and clearly a skilled little hunter. We gave him some food, and just like that… he never left.

Now known as Lucky, he’s become a part of the Carmelo Vineyards family. With his charming personality and vineyard prowls, he’s made himself right at home among the vines.

We named him Lucky not just because we felt fortunate to find him, but also because he fits perfectly with our wine labels, which proudly feature a horseshoe for good luck. And so far, Lucky has lived up to his name—surviving the local coyotes and winning all of our hearts along the way.

Here’s to Lucky—our vineyard guardian, good luck charm, and newest team member!
